Quietly nestled in the eastern corner of Allen County, seven small, rural communities go about their business with all kinds of stories to tell. Their cities are New Haven, Woodburn, Leo-Cedarville, Grabill, Harlan, Monroeville, and Hoagland. And together, they are East Allen County.

Fort Wayne Trails, established in 2011, unified trail advocacy groups, building over 160 miles of trails for recreation, commuting, and safer transportation.
Programs like Community Harvest Food Bank’s Farm Wagon provide a lifeline to hundreds of rural families each year.
The 2025 Women & Girls Study in Allen County reveals a decline in economic security for women and offers immediate solutions for Allen County employers.
