The Auburn Garrett Drive-In Theatre originally opened in 1951 as the Tri-Hi Drive-In before being renamed in 1960. In the 1970s, a larger screen was erected, and parking was expanded to allow up to 420 cars. The Drive-In is open seasonally from April until September. They show double features and occasionally a triple feature. This is the perfect place to enjoy movies during the pandemic. They have new guidelines to keep everyone healthy including only one car between posts, only one person per car can exit to the concession stand, and employees are wearing masks and gloves among other adaptions. Check their website and Facebook page for movie announcements. Enjoy an evening with your loved ones with that beautiful northeast Indiana sunset in the background. #PlacesofNEI
