In case you haven’t heard, @thelandingfw is coming back to life. It recently announced a new pizzeria and tap house (@altogradofbc) opening at 111 W. Columbia St., Suite 102, and it’s already home to a variety of local businesses, including @nawarestaurant, @utopiancoffee, @warehousesalonandspa, @housetohomefw, and @mercado_otl. The Landing is the oldest part of Fort Wayne, dating back to the 1800s when it was a key stop on the Wabash and Erie Canal. In its heyday, it was the center of culture and commerce in the city. But after escaping demolition, the last remaining block of The Landing has been largely vacant in recent years. If you do venture outside this spring (while social distancing), give this old street a new visit, and see how it’s making history again. #placesofnei #thelandingfw #fortwayne #myfortwayne #neipride
