Jennifer has been the President and CEO of Steuben County Community Foundation for the last seven years. After spending more than a decade in Indianapolis, she returned for the job and to make a difference in the community she grew up in. Located in Angola, Indiana she has a great love for northeast Indiana and Steuben County in particular. "To come back and work for the community that raised me has been an honor. It’s been enjoyable. I feel like I am giving back every single day and doing something genuinely important every single day. In the last fiscal year, we worked with over 250 donors, raised around $2.5 million, and granted over $2 million to the community. I love working not only with those in Angola but also in Orland, Ashley, Fremont, Hamilton, and other surrounding areas. We are a true rural community that connects nonprofits with donors. Most of our work is in support of the nonprofit community that includes everything from arts to human services to healthcare and education. Our area of northeast Indiana is filled with unique things to experience from watching a movie at Brokaw Theatre to hiking at Pokagon State Park. I also love boating on the local lakes, or enjoying the brewing scene at Chapman's original taproom or a glass of wine at Satek Winery. The gratification never ends in this role and our Community Foundation is making active change in the community.” #PeopleofNEI
